What your dog is desperately trying to tell you!

TYSON
TYSON is a young exuberant Black Lab. Retriever mix who was relinquished to the County Shelter as his owner no longer had the time to care for him.  Due to space constraints at the County Shelter Tyson would have been  euthanized on Dec. 3rd. In order for The Ark to rescue this big strong boy we knew he would have to go to our trainer in San Diego where he would learn the good manners to make him the Adoptable dog we know he has the potential to be.  Boarding & Training comes at a cost & we hope you can help Tyson be the dog he deserves to be.

Clyde
Darling Clyde was originally rescued by The Ark three years ago. His adoptive family has suffered from economic hardship and could no longer care for Clyde. He is a terrier mix, about seven years old, and quite the gentleman. He is good with people and also dogs, once he gets to know them. He needs some consistent training on leash, and does have some medical issues that will need continued care. He is currently in foster care, but would love to be his own loving forever home as soon as possible. Clyde is neutered and current on vaccines.

Chase
Is a young male Staffordshire Terrier, still very puppy-like. He is just a great boy, a favorite of everyone, and he doesn’t understand why he hasn’t met his human, and neither do we! Eager to please, his antics will make you smile time and again. He is a VERY sweet boy, LOTS of energy, takes treats with a gentle mouth, and rides quietly in the car. Chase is neutered and current on his shots.

Handsome Elvis is an energetic 2 year old Husky/Sheperd mix. He is a great dog, willing to please, and very well behaved.  He is looking for his furever home! He requires strong leadership, daily walks and love. He is Neutered and current on shots. Will do well with another well matched high energy dog. Elvis has completed obedience and extensive training and is very well socialized.

My owner abandoned me in a parking lot near the Long Beach Freeway. A good samaritan took me to the local shelter for safety. After 2 weeks my time was up, I was about to be euthanized when my Luck changed, that same very nice man and his wife came to get me. I did understand they could not keep me as they had 2 other dogs and many cats, somehow they knew I am a very smart loving dog that deserved a 2nd chance. I know all my commands, walk well on a leash and crate trained.I would do best with larger dogs and No Cats. I am 3 to 4 years old, Spayed and up on all my shots. I promise to love and protect you, always make you very happy

ADOPTED DOGS

Lance truly is such a sweet loving dog with so much curiosity. He follows me around everywhere and always wants to know what I'm doing and what everything is. Since bringing him home we couldn't imagine our home without him. If you might be having a bad day well Lance is there to make it better, he will lick your face till you can't handle it and burst into smiles and laughter. Tiger has also excepted Lance and the two of them lay together during the day and if Tiger is cold he snuggles into Lance. We are so glad we found Lance he is a perfect addition to our family.
